Norman Hendricks founded Norman Hendricks Construction in the mid 80's, working on home renovations and small home-build projects. The demand for residential and commercial builders grew in the 1990's and into 2000 in the Columbia Valley. The company gradually increased its team and stepped up to the challenge; residential home building became its specialty.
Chris began his career as a builder with Norman Hendricks Construction while in high school working evenings, weekends and throughout the holidays. During this time a strong foundation of industry knowledge, skills and aptitude was garnered. After graduation (1990), Chris took time to travel with friends before settling down in the Valley. Chris endeavored as an apprentice carpenter, earning his Journeyman certification in 1998.
NCM Construction was formed as a partnership with Norman in 2000. Over the years Chris' leadership and responsibility continued to grow. In 2009, Chris and wife Becky became company owners, assuming full management of NCM.
NCM Construction has completed projects throughout the Columbia Valley from Brisco (current project) to Canal Flats. The company prides itself on tackling small renovations and additions, to major structural renovations and large-scale custom builds; NCM feels fortunate to have opportunities to work on some very unique and special projects. As a result, the company's scope of expertise continues to expand and diversify.
Chris and Becky have strong ties to the Valley, thus feel strongly about supporting various programs and clubs including Toby Creek Nordic Ski Club, Windermere Valley Dirt Riders and Columbia Valley Youth Soccer.
